Home... hmm.... update wad i remembered for band camp... thought those group of pple to play.... damn pek chek.... hit the chair for timing and shout until wanna cry manz.... give attitude somemore... sian la... tt sec 1 sax player damn AP lor... fucking mute... dun even speak a single word at all... hmm.... think some of them changed their attitude la... can't think of who at the moment... but indeed have changed...

There were games on the 2nd night... as a "reward" for the members for working so hard these 2 days... well... first game was 'Blind fold'... the members definitely got wet in this game ... darn sec 4's.... keep pouring or squirting water at the poor members...and soon infected me... and i started the 'squirting' of water at the members... haha... damn Shan Joo... pour the whole bottle of water on me... thank god for making me smart enough to make the both of us wet... haha

well... that game didnt managed to get its desired effect... nothing was going right la... the lines kept breaking... pple tried to peep... messages were shouted out... so Mr Poh explained how to play the game... and soon everyone was playing the exact way taught by him... hello..... think also la... he was just giving examples... and simple ways of playing it... but everyone just did everything tt was said... weird la... hahah...

then had water game.... sort of la... but with some strategy included.... every section in the band had a king and a base.... which the king is supposed to be protected from being wet.... apparrently all the kind souls sacrificed themselves to protect the king... haha.... the seniors were the Gods of the game... who could do anything... haha... i took a pail of water and a 2 litre water bottle of water as well... haha... tell u... those poor souls who met me and was chased by me... never knew i could chase after u all right... had a pail of water with me somemore... haha...

hmm.... for today.... woke up at 9 today.... didnt bathe... and rushed out of home for VCH... no need to bathe la... i bathed at 1+ in the morning and slept... how dirty can i get... haha... took a cab... hmm.... can't believe the driver didnt know where the hall was... WAH PIANG!!! .... thank god... i reached in time... haha... could warm up somemore... hmm... then MY GOD !!!!.... Mr Han came ... and then sat beside me... stress stresss stressssss...... haha....

But hmm.... think i wasnt too nervous la... he was very friendly and crappy... haha.... so didnt really notice him beside me... he can really blast beautifully with the Horn manz.... the sound is so Full and warm... eventhough he's blasting...

never knew a recording session was so ARGH.... hahah.... at first we ran through the pieces before lunch break where we didnt record .... was just like sound check la.... then everyone got so tired at around 11.40 when we started playing at only 10+... haha... weird weird.... then lunch... wah... lunch was a first time great for the Syo members... haha... we had lunch sponsored by Singapore Food Industry... haha... weird... we had Chicken chop... baked beans... whipped potato, bun and 2 seafood nuggets... haha.... we knew that it wasnt provided by syo.... coz usually they'll have a budget and give cheapstake food like 4 nuggets and cold fries... haha... lame right... but thats what we got the last time... hahah...

after lunch.... think everyone had more energy la... and more life... haha... finally got into recording.... first take was ok .... and we took another round of the Fanfare... and wah... we moved on to another piece... tt was fast... we were thinking like... " hmm... maybe the recording would end at 3"... haha...

2nd piece... we just played by order... and then halfway through... they stopped us... damn... and said its the wrong song... we were supposed to play the firework display piece first coz it was purely orchestral and not having any computer thingies...

so we did the recording.... 1st run... 2nd run... Tada.... done again.... except for the ending part where the 1st Trumpet got flat and stood out like crazy... haha... but we moved on... and soon misery started... every moment where we had to match up to the recorded file or midi file or computer stuff... we were either rushing or most of the time lagging.... its only natural to drag certain parts.... tts why we're humans and not dead computers.... right? but well... the disc is the music that the performers have been practising with... and there is specific timings to be followed... guess we just have to accomodate.... haha.... record.... then couldnt catch tempo changes... then record again... stop... wrong notes... record again... stop.... some pple never off handphone ...kena signals.... record... stop... never get the entry right.... record... stop .... record stop.... damn shagged la... worse than practising for few hours in a studio.... then when we were ending.... we did a run of the ending of the firework display... so as to cut and cover up the good take before ... took a good take... but i played many wrong notes... haha... but then the recording pple said to run another time in case... haha... 2nd run... stopped... think had some wrong things.... then 3rd run... success.... everything went well.... sounded great... and we called it a day!!!

Damn happy today.... felt tt we're doing something so proud to an extent... haha... but quite a waste of time la... we're having a concert on the 10th of July as part of a concert in the Singapore Youth Festival... sianz.... we have like 4 or 5 practs left only... hope we'll have a good show.... everyone's looking at us now... Firebird suite... damn la.... why did he ever choose that piece?... and why did i have to choose to play that piece also? haha.... stressing myself like crazy... haha.... but well... better than having nothing to do...

actually i have loads to do.... Brahm's Sonata no. 1.... i havent even get the score... then still have my scales and arpeggios to learn... damn it.... i've wasted so much of my time in band... haha... shit la.... must start already....

hmm.... went to BK for Lunchner... haha... the food that was provided was good... but too little... its like snack to most of us.... even the girls... hmm.... had a tough time deciding where to go.... left vch.... saw Jeremy, QianHui and ShiHui.... then jeremy came bside me.... said i was dao... but what he expect me to say when he stood beside me... haha... then asked them whether they were hungry... apparently all of us were... then walked back towards vch and met Farhan... he was with others... then asked him to join us... he came along.... chatted with him.... 3 of them... then me and Farhan... haha... 2 different walking pace... we were behind them...

soon.... i asked where they were heading... and Shi Hui actually believed that we were going to Bugis.... funny la... haha... so the decided to go Subway... then me and Farhan were ahead.... spoke to him about some things... hmm... well...we're all humans la... none of us are perfect... we certainly and definitely have bad points and bad charcteristics... but all can change....

well.... walked towards St.Andrew's cathedral.... saw Fontane.... really admire her till the core.... great Harp skills man... heard she plays the Piano... Flute... Guzheng... haiz... and she has like DipAbrsm for them i think.... saw her Harp score from the place i was sitting.... looks damn chim man... no difference from a piano score basically... just that there are more arpeggiations... haha... but the harp certainly sounds damn sweet... and quite like a piano basically....just that its not as loud... will get a chance to know her... and make her teach me some harp skills... haha.... bad bad...

hmm.... the 3 horn section mates i ate with were quite fun... oh ... Farhan left for home... said that he had to bring his cousin back from day care centre... wad a model Father he is... gonna be....haha..

hmm.... chatted abt marching bands with shihui... then jeremy and qianhui thought we were arguing ... haha... no la... its normal talk.... haha.... funny la...

hmm.... then we left... i was so bloated manz.... with air.... always happens when i'm in band camp... haha... weird.... the weather's kinda hot these days huh... and my nose is peeling.... the skin tt is.... i dun wanna lose it.... sat .... band... tan again... muahaha... I'm sick manz... muahaha.... but i like being crazy... haha.... funny funny.... think this is the ultra longest blog ever manz.... haha.... well... gonna eat my dinner now... now its 10.30... haha...

Just came home from band camp.... well... I came home today la... cannot stay on for another day... might just fall sick soon... so many people are sick, poor Esther... stayed on for band camp though she just lied in the Band room for the whole day and had to go home finally after so long... she couldnt take it la... marched on the first day with a fever and cold... and then the condition worsened.... haiz... poor girl... better rest well...

hmm.... enjoyed myself thoroughly this 2 days of band camp... firstly... i was able to get my tan!!.... MUAHAHHA... arms more even now... and finally my fair legs got darker... not fair fair.... but compared to my arms... its fair la... and my hopeless face.... never able to be dark... my nose would just turn red... red... and redder... haha.... and now i have a slight resemblence to Faye Wong's past image... haha... the pinky stretch across the face... haha...

The band certainly has lot of leadership problems... maybe they're just young... but well.. they dun do things like a 'thinking-leader'.... they just do things as they're told... haiz.... think the line had been drawn between fun and serious work from the members... quite hard on u guys.... considering u all have to learn new things since 17th April... but well... you guys are getting there!!!... work harder... music wise... intonation quite a problem la... some player don't dare to play out like XueTing... vanessa... chen pei.... all my woodwinders... haiz... must play out... don't let kelvin say u all soft la... he has serious AP .... not sure why... weird...

hmm... 1st night of Band camp... i went for syo rehearsal... sian... went there like half an hour late... coz i was too caught up in wanting to see the band do formations and ended like at 6pm.... pract was at 7... us came at about 6++ la...not sure... the traffic was a killer la... every bus stop had pple either boarding or alighting... damn pissed off.... and this infant in his mum arms who was sleeping... kept kicking me ... well... i forgive u based on ur cuteness... ahaha....

went back after syo... then had my dinner.... which i asked Janice to help keep... went to get some slices of watermelon and rock melon... haha... was pretending to enjoy the watermelon so much infront of the members at the parade square... everyone wanted to "bian" me... haha.. then went to bathe.... then walked round the sleeping quarters to check on the members... hmm... feels weird... never thought abt this day when i would be going on patrol to see whether members are sleeping...

hahah... the weather was too hot.... so we went to try our luck to sleep in the staff room... to our surprise... Mdm Lee offered to let us sleep in the staff room... but we 'declined' at first.... we were just trying to get her to ask and offer us the place... haha... soon we got there to sleep...

was laughing at Kenrick's sinus problems for a full whole 15 mins... damn hilarious the sounds he makes... haha... sorry la Mr Poh.... haha... but its damn funny.... soon i ot used to it... and just slept... woke up at 7.... wash up... damn teacher asked who I was and whether i was allowed to use the staff toilet... "supposedly yes" I answered... haha... " don't use the staff toilet next time... or i will have to bring up the matter..." Blah blah blah... come on la... holidays.... we dun even see much teachers in school... Blah....

oh... then comes Breakfast... the members who were in-charged of preparing breakfast seemingly went to do the morning PT with the whole band... after which... they were showered with the 'continuous-show-of-love' by Mr poh and the seniors.... wah lao... come on la.... Band Camp... eveyrthing depend on Uncle Ali... see.... he didnt come at 7+ 8... couldnt get hot water to make milo.... so cham.... then the seniors table were offered 3 loaves of bread by 'Bee-Gong'.... thenwe were offered milo water... sian... haiz... phone was flat... went to charge... haiz.. when i on my phone... I was totally shocked to receive an sms.... went to clarify some stuff with the two of them... haiz.... so sian... friendship was an issue for him... sianz....

worked up... sian.... thank god for his calmness and stuff like that.... if not i would have broke down manz..... DAD woke me up seeing me on the floor sleeping just only... haa... cried... coz i was so shocked... then parents thought wad happened... it was so shocking lor... MUahhaa... well... Now is like 2+ am... got to wake up at like 7+ 8 to
go to vch for NDP recording... sianz....

well... enjoyed myself in the bAND camp... quite happy with my tan... glad that u were there when i needed someone ... so sweet and kind of u... thank god... take care!... see u around...
